Irma continues to move west to southwest at around 15 miles per hour. Rapidly getting it's act together and going through EWRC (Eye Wall Replacement Cycle) at times limiting intensification. Warmer waters down the road should have no problem keeping Irma down from intensifying. Latest Satellite shows Irma slowly dancing towards the leeward island.

As of around 3:00 PM EDT today reconnaissance found winds up to 113 knots (130 MPH) likely making this a category 4 hurricane.

Hurricane watches/warnings are up for the leeward island and for the Puerto Rico.
The recent GFS has shifted north and east since 06Z resulting in a less track for Florida and the gulf. Although gulf is still in play chances have be up and down since the start of tracking Irma.

The European model also very well agrees with the GFS except a tad more south.

These two tracks lead to my track which is hard since uncertainty remains high.

In the mean time Just watch for now and if your in the track you may want to think about getting ready and to leave when needed.
You may have noticed in some of the model graphic another area to watch and yes it is another area to watch so Owen will have a blog post regarding 94L sometime early this week!
